Saturday... July28.. 2006

I was born. I saw my world become... Im a dog.. puppy.. But.. where am i..
"you are here" my mother says to me.
"who am i.. where am i?"
" Dont worry *licks me* your i the city of new york.. In an Alley.."
" Do i have Siblings?"
"yes one.. i had 3 others but the had pasted.. its you and yoyr sister.."
"oh..."
"but... dont worry *licks once more* i ecscaped.."
" What do you mean?
"Stay away.... from. puppy......mills."
"what is that Mother?
"think of it as Hell.. Never experiance.. i knw you were just born.... just... *closes eye* take care of your little sister......"
"Mother!? MOTHER!"
She was gone..
me on Candy were left.. Thats what she wanted me to call her..
WE just lie there.. digging threw trash..
We found food here and there but usally went to sleep Hungry.. not just hungry i mean ripping at your stomach hungry.....
My life?
Whats is my life?
Who is my life?
Whats my world?
i have no mother.. me and Candy..

By the following week we could walk.. Run..
Running around our alley or our Home... as we call it..

" Brother?"
"yes Candy?"
"do you have a name yet?"
"no.. idk yet.."
"umm.. i have a sugstion?"
"What?"
"well look at your markings... There pretty"

I looked at myself.. i had Black all over me but a white muzzle and belly and tip of tail... I was like.. a shadow..

"Shadow..."

"huh brother?"

"Shadow! I can be a shadow sis"
"cool"
"we have to move Candy.."
"what leave our mother-"
"Shes dead.. GONE! *i tear* WE have no mother!"
"Shadow-"
"SHES GONE! THATS IT I DONT EVEN KNOW OUR FATHER!"
"Fine lets leave *starts to cry*"

We left.. But i lost my life agian.. We were crossing the st..

" Ok candy Look both ways we are only a week we r slow.."
" Ok shadow"
i look both and so does she.
then she starts to cross! With a truck coming..

"CANDY!!"

She glances then POW.. gone.

" Candy! NOOOO * i cry*"

The truck stops.. notices he hit a puppy and just take it off the tire and throws it.. Just throws it!

Who am i!
WHO AM I I LOST IT!

I sleep under a bush that night.. Crying..
I fall asleep.
Mother...
Candy...
Why?

It was another dog... a big one.. look slike a labador..

"Kid wake up.."

"ugghhh"

"Kid wake up!" he nuzzled me

"im up..Who are you?"

"im Roughhouse.. The Big brown ladrador.. only 2 who are you, Kid"

" Im shadow.. i named myself"

"You look worn out."

"I am.. My mother and sister *i tear* are GONE!"

"Candy was hit by a truck.."

"ur mom?"

" Died when i was born.. i was last.."

"runt Ey?"

"was your mother all brusied and hert"

"yea she sonthing bout a puppy-"

"puppymill. There Nasty! I hate them i was born there.. the did horable things to my mother!"

" My mom sayd it was hell"

"it is.."

"i dont wanna experiance-"

"Kid we gotta go.."

"why?"

" POunds.. your a mutt... hmm Husky mixed with ..... German?.. with... Chihuahua!"

"ey youll learn We gotta go!"

"Whats a puond im only a week old!"

" A place that if you dont get adopted ... you get a needel thing i heard and.. Die.."

We run ... past 2 other mcdonalds.. a mall...a macys?.... and i think.. a target... But we ran stoped here and there.. he told me about a place called... A Home. Where people Love you.. not for your looks for YOU. i want one.. bad but right now.. Im in hell as i see it... then e explained Abuse! I got scared when..

" KID LOK OUT!"

a hand picked me up and ran.. it was a guy.. a mean looking guy..
he sayd.. Ill have you my slave.. I have a punchin bag now.. I was scared.. he was gonna Abuse me off anger.... Now...
Im In Hell.... So I cryied while he was carrying me..
